According to data released by the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS), China's output of seamless steel pipes totaled 2.853 million tons in June, hitting a new record high.
In June, the daily output of seamless pipes averaged at 95,100 tons, rising by 8% from a month ago and increasing by 18% year on year.
In the first half of this year, China's seamless steel pipe output amounted to 15.35 million tons, increasing by 11% year on year, boosted by capacity expansions in recent years.
